This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of roots ontological tech, corp. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and how we handle personal information that we collect through our website, https://roots.so, our platform, and any other sites or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Service” or “Services”). We treat all personal information covered by this Privacy Policy as pertaining to individuals acting as business representatives, and not in their individual or household capacity. This Privacy Policy does not apply to our handling of personal information that we process on behalf of our enterprise customers as a service provider or processor.

Personal Information We Collect

Information that you provide to us: Contact details, such as your first and last name, email and mailing addresses, phone number, professional title, and company affiliation. Payment information needed to complete your transactions with us, including name, payment card information, and billing information. This information is processed by our payment service provider, Stripe, which may handle your payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy). We do not have access to your full payment card information. Communications that we exchange with you, including when you contact us with questions, feedback or otherwise. Survey information that you provide when you participate in one of our surveys. Usage information, such as information about how you use the Services and interact with us, including information associated with any content you upload to the Services or otherwise submit to us, and information you provide when you use any interactive features of the Services. Marketing data, such as your preferences for receiving our marketing communications and details about your engagement with them.
